Symphonette by the Sea – sur mer has performed for enthusiastic Saint John audiences since its formation in 2022. Featuring musicians from the greater Saint John area, the orchestra includes professional and local talented musicians performing under the baton of Hok Kwan, the Artistic Director of the St. Andrews Gala Orchestra. We perform a delightful mixture of light classics, contemporary arrangements of familiar pieces, and the feature the occasional surprise soloist. We hope that you will have an interest in supporting us, as we feature soloists, other instruments, choral pieces and local composers to the venue.
